Directions to GTPAC’s Athens Office

From Watkinsville
Get on the by pass (Loop 10) and take the Downtown Athens/Airport exit (exit 8). Turn left at the end of the exit ramp (towards Athens). Go .8 miles, turn right on Poplar Street, then left on Mulberry. It will dead end into East Broad Street. Turn left on East Broad St., take an immediate left into Dudley Park Dr. At that point, you will be in our parking lot across the street from the Chicopee building. Park your car in the back lot where a parking permit is not required. (M-F 8am-4pm)  You will get a ticket, if not parked in the designated spot. When you cross the street to go into our building, enter the far left entrance (as you face the building). There’s a historical marker outside the entrance. Go up a flight of stairs to the reception area.

From the North-From U.S. 441, Commerce
From Commerce, GA, Interstate 85, take U.S. 441 South, travel under the Athens Perimeter (Loop 10) and continue passing through four traffic lights. After passing through the fourth traffic light, the Chicopee building will on your left. You will take a right into the parking lot.Park your car in the back lot where a parking permit is not required. (M-F 8am-4pm)  You will get a ticket, if not parked in the designated spot. When you cross the street to go into our building, enter the far left entrance (as you face the building). There’s a historical marker outside the entrance. Go up a flight of stairs to the reception area.

From U.S. 29, Danielsville
Remain on U.S. 29 South until you reach the Athens Perimeter. Enter the Perimeter traveling westward, and take the first exit, North Avenue. Turn left onto North Avenue and proceed to the traffic light at the intersection of North Avenue/Martin Luther King Parkway. Take a left at this intersection and travel through one traffic light, and the Chicopee Building will be on your left. You will take a right into the parking lot. Park your car in the back lot where a parking permit is not required. (M-F 8am-4pm)  You will get a ticket, if not parked in the designated spot. When you cross the street to go into our building, enter the far left entrance (as you face the building). There’s a historical marker outside the entrance. Go up a flight of stairs to the reception area.

78 East to Highway 316
Take Highway 316 to Athens. Highway 316 will become Epps Bridge Road when it crosses the Athens Bypass (Loop). Home Deport will be on the right. Stay on Epps Bridge Road that leads into West Broad Street. West Broad St. will take you to downtown Athens. The University of Georgia arches will be on your right. At the five-way intersection of Thomas St., (Main Street Bank is on your left), continue straight and go down the hill, over the railroad tracks, and across the bridge. You will come to a stoplight at the end of the bridge. Turn right (the Chicopee building will be on your left), go about 100 yards and turn right into the parking lot across the street from the Chicopee building. Park your car in the back lot where a parking permit is not required. (M-F 8am-4pm)  You will get a ticket, if not parked in the designated spot. When you cross the street to go into our building, enter the far left entrance (as you face the building). There’s a historical marker outside the entrance. Go up a flight of stairs to the reception area.

From the West
Approaching Athens eastbound on U.S. 78, you will continue driving straight on from Atlanta Highway that leads to West Broad St. West Broad Street will take you to downtown passing by the University of Georgia arches on your right. From the East
When approaching from the East on U.S. 78, travel toward downtown Athens. After passing the Super Wal-mart on your right, you will continue toward downtown Athens. After passing through the traffic light where Carmichael Cinema is on your left, you will pass through two traffic lights, and at the third traffic light, you will turn right on Poplar Street, then left on Mulberry. It will dead end into East Broad Street. Turn left on East Broad Street. Take an immediate left into Dudley Park Dr. At that point, you will be in our parking lot across the street from the Chicopee building.  Park your car in the back lot where a parking permit is not required.
