Two counselors from the Atlanta office of the Georgia Tech Procurement Assistance Center (GTPAC) will be presenting a training session to acquaint businesses with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on July 7, 2016.
The training will be presented at the U.S. Small Business Administration’s offices in Peachtree Center – Harris Tower, located at 233 Peachtree Street, NE, Suite 1900, Atlanta, GA 30303.
The training session is designed to acquaint businesses who are interested in winning federal contracts with the applicable rules. Attendees will learn how the FAR is structured and where to find the rules appropriate to their contracting interests. Participants also will learn about federal agencies’ supplements to the FAR, how to search and interpret the FAR, and why understanding the FAR is important for anyone who wants to win a federal contract.
