Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute is proud to announce that Werhner Washington, Procter & Gamble’s Albany Plant Manager, has been named the “Face of Manufacturing” for the month of May 2015.
As a 22 year old who was fresh out of college, Werhner moved to Albany, GA to take a job at the P&G plant. After 11 years in Albany, he made several moves within the company — to other states and manufacturing plants, as well as to the corporate office. Now, 19 years later, he has returned to P&G Albany as the plant manager and to the Southwest Georgia city that he considers home.
