Details of USG’s Oct. 24th procurement expo now available

The University System of Georgia (USG) has announced details of its annual procurement expo aimed at attracting more vendors to the contracting opportunities generated by the state’s colleges and universities.

The 2014 USG Procurement Expo will be hosted by Middle Georgia State College located in Macon, Georgia.  The Expo will be a one-day event that features exhibits from University System institutions and provides information on business opportunities with the institutions of the University System of Georgia as well as federal, state, and local government agencies, and prime construction management firms. The event targets small and minority vendors, however all vendors are welcome to attend.

Schedule

10:00am – Registration opens

11:30am – Luncheon Program in Banquet Hall

1:00pm – Expo Opens (agencies and institutions are the exhibitors)

Concurrent breakout sessions will be conducted, and all activities will be held in the Charles H. Jones Building on the Middle Georgia State College campus.

Registration

The registration fee is $40 per person ($45 after Tuesday September 30, 2014).

Parking

Parking is available in the Charles H. Jones Building parking lot. Parking passes will be provided and are required.
