Subcontractor ‘meet and greet’ session scheduled for May 29th

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia invite subcontractors, suppliers, and small businesses to attend a “Meet and Greet Outreach Event” on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 9:00 untill 11:00 am.

This is an an informal meet-and-greet to discuss the project and meet the project team.

  • What: Georgia Tech EBB Subcontractor Outreach Session
  • When: Wednesday, May 29th 9-11AM
  • Where: Georgia Institute of Technology Marcus Nanotechnology Building, 345 Ferst Street, Room 1117, Atlanta, GA 30332

The project involves a new state of the art building, over 200,000 S.F. lab space for Georgia Tech. The facility will be five-stories, with a basement and mechanical penthouse. The Engineered Biosystems Building (EBB) will serve as the focus for Georgia Tech’s efforts to improve human health through an enhanced understanding of complex living systems. The building will co-locate and integrate faculty and students from the Colleges of Sciences, Engineering, and Computing whose research focuses on molecules, cells, organisms, and populations as a composite of the dynamically interacting biological systems and pathways that together control the manifestation of disease and determine the state of health.

In order to be placed on the bid list, please prequalify with McCarthy by visiting their website (www.mccarthy.com) and filling out the Subcontractor Prequalification form.

Subcontracting opportunities will be available in the following areas:

Specialities • Division 11 – Equipment • Division 12 – Furnishings • Division 31 – Earthwork
