SBA mentor-protégé forum to be held Feb. 17 in Atlanta

In order for 8(a) firms to compete more successfully for federal contracts, the U.S. Small Business Administration is hosting a forum in Atlanta on Friday, February 17, 2012.

The Mentor-Protégé Forum is designed to assist 8(a) firms in their efforts to learn more about SBA’s Mentor-Protégé Program, joint ventures, and meeting potential mentors. The Forum will begin with an overview of the SBA Mentor-Protégé Program, followed by discussion of Strategic Alliance and Joint Venture opportunities, leading to a Question and Answer Session.

One-on-one in-person business matchmaking sessions will be the highlight of the afternoon putting you face-to-face with potential mentors or protégés.

The Forum is being held at the Westin Atlanta, 210 Peachtree Street.  The program begins at 7:00 am with Registration.  A General Session will be held from 8:00 am until 11:30 am.  Business Matchmaking will take place from 1:00 until 5:00 pm.
