The 2010 South Georgia Regional Procurement Expo is a one-day event that features exhibits from University System institutions in south Georgia, and others. It will be held in Savannah, hosted by Armstrong Atlantic State University, on Friday, October 15, 2010.
Attendees will have the opportunity tomeet representatives from procurement, facilities, information technology and other departments in Georgia’s public colleges and universities. In addition, attendees can network with representatives from the Georgia Department of Administrative Services, Georgia Department of Transportation, UGA Small Business Development Center, the City of Savannah and more.
Highlights of this year’s event include:
• Opportunities to network and establish relationships with key decision-makers.
• Explanation of the ins-and-outs of the University System’s procurement process and how to avoid common mistakes
• Availability of on-site assistance to register with Team Georgia Marketplace, the state government’s vendor registration system.
