The Georgia Tech Procurement Assistance Center (GTPAC) is holding a special briefing on April 22nd on “How to Work Effectively with Small Business Specialists.”
Every federal agency employs Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Specialists (SADBUS). In recent years, many government agencies have changed the titles of these officials to simply Small Business Specialists. Similar positions exist within state and local governments as well as within major prime contractors. These personnel act as advocates for small businesses within the procurement process. This new GTPAC briefing provides instruction on how to best work with these government officials.
This free briefing will be held from 1 until 2 on Thursday afternoon, April 22, 2010 in the Technology Square area of Georgia Tech’s Midtown Atlanta campus. Advance registration is required and may be accomplished by clicking here.
